The emulation you choose for your dictate station determines what tones are produced from certain functions. With the VS Server you can modify what tone a function corresponds to with custom keymaps. However, with some telephony servers, you will need to have a station that matches the tones and functions already set up.
When you order, please append the following letter to the station’s model for emulation type.
-D (DVI)
-C (C-Phone)
-S (Voice Solutions)
-L (Lanier)
-W (Winscribe)
Examples:
DA-113/SM-C would be a DA-113/SM with the “C-Phone” emulation.
DA-113/SM-L would be a DA-113/SM with the “Lanier” emulation.
